The opportunity Working with an amazing team of people, the Communications Coordinator plays a key role in the overall marketing strategy’s success and value add to the organization. They collaborate with multiple departments, engaging and managing feedback from a wide group of stakeholders, to develop and implement effective communications that support business objectives. This agile human is involved heavily in content production, list management, and internal and external communications. The Communications Coordinator is also involved in supporting the Marketing team in planned and ad hoc campaigns to drive product commercialization, market awareness, lead generation, and content release priorities. Content Production and Communication Marketing automation – Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Sales Enablement, lead the operational email program and platform: collect requirements, plan deployment, develop content, and ensure communications are delivered in accordance with business and regulatory standards. Export email contact lists from our platforms and manage data and segmentation using Excel. Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure operational email content, lists, and timing are in alignment with business needs and goals. Contribute to and/or create customer quarterly e-bulletins and newsletters, product updates, website updates, blogs, case studies, white papers, e-books, and by-lines as needed. Support the Marketing team in crafting and launching promotional emails and social media campaigns as needed. Support public relations endeavours such as research and talking points as inputs for article writing for media outlets. Collaborating on internal communications such as: newsletters, operational announcements, and product announcements. Brand Management Help maintain and elevate company brand and positioning within communications. Review, build and implement branded templates. Produce engaging and impactful content for various platforms, including emails, website content, blog posts, social media updates, and internal communications. Ensure consistency and alignment with the organization's brand voice and messaging. Who you are and what you could become Demonstrated experience successfully managing email campaigns Ability to plan, develop, write, and edit a variety of communication materials for both internal and external audiences Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal, with strong grammar and proofreading abilities Strong computer skills, proficient in MS office Familiarity with email analytics and KPI reporting Awareness of Business-to-Business communication strategies Team player, innovative thinker, and self-driven Strong business acumen, well organized with a creative mind Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and energetic disposition; always eager to learn Experience cross-collaborating with internal and external departments and stakeholders Nice to Have (but not deal breakers): A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in business, communications, marketing, or a related field 1- 3 years of experience in an individual contributor communications role Experience using Sendwithus, Marketo, or another email automation platform Experience in email analytics and reporting Experience with Salesforce is a bonus Communications experience in payments, FinTech, or related industries If you’re bilingual, we really want to hear from you – French is an asset Key Competencies: Attention to Communication: Able to ensure the timely and complete communication to parties who should be informed, with keen attention to detail Analytical Thinking: Able to solve problems using a logical, systematic approach Business Support: Ensure the commercial & customer facing roles of the business are supported in their outreach efforts Managing Performance: Driven to take responsibility for one’s own performance by setting clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against goals, ensuring feedback, and addressing performance problems and issues promptly.
