We are currently collaborating with a leading player in the aviation industry, assisting them in their quest for talented Stress Engineers to join their team in Montreal, QC.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Your expertise will be instrumental in our ambitious large-scale projects. As a key member of a diverse engineering team, you will apply your computational and analytical skills to calculate resistance to limit and ultimate loads, assess fatigue damage, and determine damage tolerance for the development of innovative systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be tasked with conducting structural analyses of various components or subsystems to ensure their ability to withstand loads during rigorous laboratory testing and operational conditions. Your contributions will be pivotal in a collaborative team environment where sharing critical ideas and information is essential for designing cutting-edge products that are durable, sustainable, cost-effective, and lightweight.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Possession of a Mechanical and/or Aeronautical Engineering degree

Minimum of five years of experience in stress analyses (static and fatigue) within the aerospace industry or a related field

Proficiency in stress analyses of solid and thick parts

A strong conceptualization mindset combined with a practical approach

Exceptional problem-solving skills for tackling complex technical challenges

A well-honed sense of priorities and organizational abilities

Familiarity and professional experience (minimum 3 years) with finite element software (experience with ABAQUS is advantageous)

Proficiency in French would be advantageous
