Senior Seals Design Engineer

Purpose of the Role: As a Seals Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing mechanical seals for our carbon capture machines. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute hands-on expertise, and drive the success of our groundbreaking initiatives. Required Skills and Qualifications: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.You have – years of proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in energy, or rotating machinery projects.You are familiar with industrial processes, engineering standards, and equipment used in the energy industry (fans, pumps, fluid mechanics, process engineering).You have strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary efforts.  What Success looks like in this role: You will utilize your expertise in CAD-Creo to create detailed designs, D models, and engineering drawings especially fabricated components.You will translate conceptual ideas into practical, manufacturable designs.You will actively participate in the design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical components and systems.You will process and analyze data from experiments, field tests, and simulations.You will wear multiple hats, from design to project management and beyond.
