Our Burnaby restaurant is now looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience in the restaurant industry and a passion for guest service. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day shift management, training and development of service team members, and “4 walls marketing” initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to work with other departments in order to maximize sales opportunities within the restaurant. If you think you have what it takes, apply today! As a Service Manager in Burnaby, your primary responsibility will be managing day-to-day operations within the restaurant. This includes promoting a passion for service and salesmanship, ensuring appropriate service levels at all times including shoulder periods, assisting where necessary on the floor during peak times, recruiting new staff members, training and developing existing staff members, scheduling shifts accordingly, performance management of staff members, working with other departments to maximize sales opportunities within the restaurant, maintaining open communication between management and team members as well as front of house and back of house teams. You will also be responsible for ensuring all standards are followed related to safety protocols as well as food preparation or finishing timing and cleanliness.
