BC Market Manager (outside sales)

Responsibilities:Develop and execute detailed sales strategies spanning annually, quarterly, and monthly periods to propel market initiatives forwardManage existing portfolio while pursuing growth through new business and conversion opportunitiesCultivate relationships with end users, contractors, owners, and engineers, nurturing long-term partnershipsConduct regular presentations and educational sessionsAttend industry events, trade shows, and meetings to stay abreast of market trendsConduct installation demonstrations, site visits and application reviews to ensure best practices are followedMonitor market trends and provide insightful reports to managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic business plansMaintain accurate records in Salesforce.com for project tracking and client management Qualifications: Post-secondary education and 5+ years of experience in an outside sales role, ideally within the industrial sectorProficiency in computer applications and programs, including Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational skills and mechanical aptitudeExcellent public speaking and presentation abilitiesAbility to interpret and execute instructions effectivelyValid driver’s license, car insurance, and ability to lift 50lbsAbility to travel up to 25%Strong judgment and decision-making abilitiesIn-depth knowledge of sales channels and competitors’ productsExcellent multitasking and organizational skillsExceptional administrative and interpersonal skills
