STAFF ACCOUNTNAT  Reporting to the Team Lead of Finance, our Staff Accountant is key a member of the Financial Reporting team; which manages and leads the financial operations and provides meaningful information to the business and its shareholder. You will oversee the day-to-day accounting requirements of the Financial Reporting Team. Here is what a typical day looks like Identify and prepare all journal entries as required Provide and document financial statement support including analysis, calculations and reconciliation, for key general ledger accounts Assisting in preparation of financial reports and regulatory reports for Parent Company (Wawanesa), including templates for reporting and initial analysis as required Responding to internal client enquiries and following through on resolution of issues Ensure financial statement close process controls are followed appropriately and effectively Oversee and manage the day-to-day full cycle accounting functions The value you bring Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Commerce Previous experience with balance sheet reconciliation and financial reporting is preferred  Proficient in Excel and Word Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Location: Victoria, BC (Hyrbid) Salary range: $42,000 - $56,000 Requisition #: 80442 What if I don’t meet every requirement?
