We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team to help bring our next-generation products into reality.The individual must be a high energy, self-starter with excellent technical and communication skills. Our ideal candidate has a track record of developing and deploying excellent software and firmware. You will be an integral part of our talented engineering team, which includes electrical, software, and opto-mechanical disciplines, all working together at the cutting edge of design and development. Skills & Experience Development with C++ and Python using object-oriented principles Firmware development for STM32 micro-controllers or equivalent with timers, I2C/UART/SPI, DMA, ADC, and other peripherals User interface design for both desktop and embedded touchscreen applications Ability to write readable, well-structured code with clear documentation Bonus Skills Comfortable with handling everything from defined, low-level coding tasks to higher-level, whole-system abstraction Experience with C# and .NET for desktop development Knowledge of TCP socket programming and using cloud services Understanding of multithreaded programming and synchronization Basic grasp of analog circuits and PCBs Requirements and Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field 1-5 years industry experience What You Will Do Develop firmware and user interface software for new and existing instrumentation such as spectrometers, analyzers, and medical devices along with in-house automation and robotic systems.
