CES Energy Solutions is looking for a self-motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Safety Summer Student. This full-time position is located in Calgary, Alberta and reports directly to the Business Analyst. Hours of work are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and the position will run from May through August.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Work with other team members within the Health, Safety & Environment group.
  • Perform inventory counts and organizational duties.
  • Assist with equipment fittings.
  • Support the HSE electronic management system (Cosmos).
  • Assist with documentation organization and record keeping.
  • Complete other duties as required.

Required skillset:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive and professional mindset.
  • Currently studying Health and Safety in post-secondary is an asset.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
