Gas Station Attendant

Duties :

• Provide exceptional customer service to all gas station customers
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Perform basic math calculations to ensure correct change is given to customers
• Assist customers with fueling their vehicles and provide instructions on operating the fuel pumps
• Monitor fuel levels and restock fuel as needed
• Conduct regular inspections of the gas station premises to ensure cleanliness and safety
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning fuel spills and maintaining pump equipment
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
• Conduct product demonstrations and promote special offers or promotions

Skills :

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Cashiering experience and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers
• Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for all customers
• Basic math skills for calculating change and reconciling cash register totals
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is preferred but not required
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion
• Ability to sell products and services effectively to customers
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies or processes related to gas station operations

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
