Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work setting Restaurant Tasks Establish methods to meet work schedules Requisition food and kitchen supplies Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures Hire food service staff Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Prepare budget and cost estimates Address customers' complaints or concerns Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Prepare and submit reports Prepare food order summaries for chef Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres Establish work schedules Personal suitability Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Team player Initiative Dependability Support for newcomers and refugees Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week
