Comfortable in a growing environment you see opportunities in change. You are a strong accountant with significant experience with financial reporting, process improvement, reconciliations and consolidation. As a successful candidate you have a proven track record of identifying deficiencies, proposing and implementing improvements in a multicompany, multi-currency and multinational team environment. This is an influential role that requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and organization skills. Key ResponsibilitiesACCOUNTINGCollaborate closely with the Finance Director regarding: General Accounting and balancing with balance sheet reconciliationBank ReconciliationAccounts Receivables and Payables reconciliation partnering with AP/AR agentInternal control and establish internal procedures to fo9llow for the Real Estate teamCollect data and reconcile the financial data necessary for the group’s real estate portfolioConsolidate companies financial result for internal reviewUSD revaluation calculationTaxes process for each companiesKeep financial system up to dateMerge companies when neededEnsure the establishment, monitoring and compliance of regulatory reports with government authorities in each jurisdiction.Coordinate activities with external auditors ACQUISITON/DISPOSITION MANAGEMENTManagement of new acquisitions and/or disposition of buildings: Obtain all legal information to register accurately each new acquisition and/or dispositionUpdate the rent roll to include/remove the tenants incomeCreate a new business in our accounting system if necessary INFORMATION SYSTEMCollaborate with Information System team for technology decision: Participate in the implementation of a building management systemEnsure the application of governance rules regarding the protection and integrity of company data FINANCIAL ANALYSIS Learning about company information systemsDevelop tools and processes for analyzing the profitability of each building ownsRecommend any improvements related to company IT systemsDevelop dashboards and financial indicators for managers and make recommendations to improve the results FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND RISK MANAGMENT Coordinate the financial planning process and the budget for each building as well as the real estate departmentCollaborate to cash managementIdentify and manage business risks Required Skills Good oral and written communication skills both in English and FrenchStrong analytical skillsStrong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast pacedResourcefulMust be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skillsAdvanced knowledge of ExcelWillingness and ability to evolve in a grow environmentKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Great Plains) Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accountingAccounting title (CPA)Minimum 5 years experience in a similar positionEnglish (spoken and written)French (spoken and written) Benefits Dental careLife insurancePaid time offOn-site parkingWellness programRRSP Plan
