Summary of Position:The Sales Lot Attendant is responsible for keeping the lot and showroom organized. In addition, the individual provides assistance to Sales Lot Manager, Facilities Manager, Sales Management, and other lot duties.KPIs:· Communicates with reception and sales consultants in order to coordinate vehicle location, presentation and delivery· Ensures the lot and showroom vehicles are clean and organized· Drives safely and carefully while obeying traffic regulations at all times and has no accident record· Is thorough with all cars and paying great attention to detail to ensure all vehicles are ready before delivery – fuel, wash, wax, and polish scratches when necessary· Works well as a team and completes duties without direct supervision· Is knowledgeable when inspecting new cars that are dropped off at the lot· Ensures customer parking and front line are tidy and efficient with navigating and organizing all vehicles, including demosDuties & Responsibilities:Wash and wax vehiclesKeep showroom vehicles cleanFuel up vehiclesNavigate cars in the lotHelp in preparing and detailing for new car deliveryCheck and update delivery sheetOpen gates and move blockers carsPolish scratches out of customers’ carsInspect new cars when delivered and parks themCoordinate deliveries with detailPick up and drop off customersBuy equipment and replenish detailing supplies when neededLine up lot, park cars, and clean demosAct upon Sales Consultant or Sales Receptionist’s requestsKeep customer parking, lot, and front line tidy and cleanClean up showroom floors (when janitors aren’t around)Other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:Valid BC Driver’s License, Class 7 or Class 5 and must be able to provide driving abstractAbility to work independently, with little or no supervisionStrong team player and ability to cooperate with various departmentsDetail-oriented and strong organizational skillsStrong time management skillsAble to withstand working in a semi-outdoor environmentThe ability to drive a manual transmission is an assetCompensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourWork Environment:The hours of operation for this position are detailed below:10:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday to Friday
