Job Description: The Birthing Unit features eight private Labour-Birthing Rooms. Each room is equipped with a birthing bed, fetal monitor, and infant care centre. The team consists of labour and delivery nurses who provide one to one support to patients and collaborate with the physicians and midwives to provide exceptional care. As the Patient Services Clerk you will be is responsible for reception, patient registration, OR bookings, Triage bookings, communication and clerical duties of the unit in accordance with the organizational philosophy, policies and standards of the Important Company. Medical Office Administration Certificate/Diploma or Equivalent Program essential Office administration experience in a hospital environment or equivalent Competencies: Computer literacy - Microsoft Office - essential II. Keyboarding skills - 50wpm - essential Current experience with Meditech, including registration, EMR, order entry and appointment scheduling an asset Current experience in the processing of physicians orders an asset You will be a great fit for this position if you have: Demonstrated commitment to customer service skills.
