BIM Manager / Architectural Technologist

Here at Johnston Davidson Architecture, we pride ourselves on civic work that help benefit the community and provide a strong foundation for the community's growth – and we are looking to add a BIM Manager to our team here in Vancouver! We are looking for individuals who can help us with best practices for the implementation of our design through BIM. The BIM Manager will be responsible for helping us improve our workflow standards throughout the life of the project. We believe in individuals who are ready to join our team and make a lasting impact on the future of the firm, joining the core management team in growing the firm. If you believe this, is you, you would be responsible for: -       Manage Revit standards -       Managing Autodesk Construction Cloud -       Develop technical architectural drawings and specifications -       Produce, organize, and distribute all drawing packages and documents including development permits, building permits issued for construction set -       Assist the senior management team in project phases -       Lead the development and production of architectural designs, drawings and specifications for various projects -       Overseeing group work plans, monitoring workflow, QAQC and ensuring deliverables meet the organization’s standards with the client’s schedule -       Ensure that the firm is informed of any trends, events or emerging technology of significance to the firm’s success While we do not require all the qualifications, the best candidate to represent JDa would likely have: -       Eligible to be registered with the AIBC program -       Previous experience working in an office setting for a minimum of five year -       Strong Adobe skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) -       Highly proficient in Revit (minimum of 5 years of working Revit experience) -       Full understanding of the BC Building Code -       Good work ethic and enthusiasm for working as a team -       Excellent oral and written communication skills -       Well organized with good interpersonal skills -       Legally able to work in Canada -       Valid driver’s license Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 If you are interested in joining the team, please prepare a submission of your resume, portfolio, and your passion and why Johnston Davidson Architecture is the best fit for you.
