Leeson Engineering is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer with commercial building design experience. Residential and industrial building design experience is also useful. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with a team of mechanical engineers/technicians to provide client-focused solutions.
Required education: Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Responsibilities include: § To draft and design building mechanical and plumbing systems § To develop and prepare engineering designs, drawings, documents and layouts from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data § Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations § Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets § Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data Qualifications: § To be responsible, efficient, and to have smart communication skills § Must be detail-orientated with strong multi-tasking skills; can handle multiple projects at the same time § Minimum 2+ years experience working in same or related industry preferred § Fluent English skills (verbal and written) § Must be well organized and punctual § Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD preferred, intermediate proficiency acceptable § Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
