Position SummaryWe are looking for a Summer Student to join us in our Florenceville Prepared Foods manufacturing Plant. This role will involve executing a series of safety projects geared to help improve our safety program. These include but are not limited to (as time permits), Chemical inventory/ Safety Data Sheet revamp, Update Lock Out Tag Out procedures to the new Brady Software, job observations to create/ update employee Physical Demands Analysis and Job Hazard Analysis for all roles in the facility. The Team You will work with our Safety team which includes Jen Furrow, Safety Manager, and Sheila Cox, Safety Specialist. What You Will Learn A systematic approach to safety programs, including data collection and transposing findings to the safety program to drive safety culture. Software programs including Microsoft Office and Brady. A safety focused approach to the workplace, incorporating procedures and company culture to give employees the tools they need to work safely and incorporate safety into their daily decision making process.
