AMG White Oak PavilionIf you are a current Adventist HealthCare employee, please click this link to apply through your Workday account.Adventist Medical Group seeks to hire an experienced Registered Echo Technologist for our Cardiovascular Specialty office in Silver Spring, MD who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Registered Echo Tech you will: • Receives physicians order for inpatient and outpatients. Reviews electronic medical record for pertinent history.• Prepares patients for procedure, considering their physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs. Follows proper procedure for transport of patients when applicable. Provide patient care in a safe and compassionate manner.• Performs echocardiograms for pediatric and adult patients according to protocol. Perform studies to ICAEL standard, department policy and procedure, and ACC/AHC standards. Examines the heart from the appropriate echo views assessing wall motion, valve function, chamber size, and any abnormalities seen, notify cardiologist of any critical results.• Assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. Notify biomed of all equipment malfunctions. Notify supervisor of equipment and malfunctions.• Assure that all patient charges can be accurately completed.
