We have openings in our Saanichton, Langford, Duncan and Nanaimo locations. Primary Job Functions Troubleshoot, diagnose, repairs, and maintain a variety of hydraulic truck mounted equipment.Trouble shoot, diagnose, repairs, and maintain a variety of equipment ranging cranes, bucket trucks and hi rail.Report to Foreman and Service management to assist with customer communication and satisfaction. Ability to type out detailed stories of repairs to be caried forward or completed. Ability to keep a clean and safe workspace.Maintain efficient and accurate workmanship in a safe and professional environment. Qualifications Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Certificate (Apprentice level 4 technician will be considered) BC Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 with air brakes or Class 1 is considered an asset)Mechanically inclined with a strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.Customer service focused with effective communication skills. Must be a motivated able to work in a fast paced, detailed, and processed driven environment .Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.Use of computerized scanning equipment, able to use digital technology/mechanical software.
