Here's how your role will strengthen our team.Reporting to the Director, IT this position is responsible for delivering key technology projects and priorities for the business. The IT Manager will ensure that IT resources are sufficient and available to meet the organization's strategic growth and efficiency.Your responsibilities Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the operations of organization's information systemsFacilitate the development, configuration, implementation, operation and administration of computer systems and softwarePrioritize work activities for the IT group to maximize the use of resourcesWork with consultants, vendors, and technology specialists to manage and implement projectsManage Helpdesk tickets and ensure IT staff are available and qualified to troubleshoot issuesSupport IT team development through delegation, coaching, mentoring and annual performance reviews Your experience and skills Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a similar roleDegree or Diploma in a technology related field5 years' proven experience leading, coaching, and mentoring a teamAbility to take direction from your supervisor, follow through on plans, and communicate statusesDemonstrated experience in the development, implementation, operation and administration of computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systemsExperience with Oracle JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft SharePoint and Procore preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment About HouleAs BC's leading electrical contractor and systems integrator, we believe in delivering safe, reliable power for the future. Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000, plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will depend on your experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
