Position Scope Due to our rapid expansion, we are seeking an Assistant Engineer. The successful candidate will work with an established team of engineers and designers to provide service to our clients on both current and upcoming projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Project Engineer in modelling/designing food processing equipment using AUTOCAD and InventorRegular audit on food processing equipment at customer job sitesAssist the Project Engineer in composing and compiling technical reports and forming the databaseProvide technical support for end users, aftermarket parts and service teamLiaise with internal and external manufacturing facilitiesAssist the Project Engineer in budget tracking and verify actual spending with planningAssist the Project Engineer in reviewing and improving current internal processes and practicePerform other duties as assignedQualifications & AbilitiesBachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 1 year of working experience in food processing equipment designAble to travel regularly to domestic and international job sitesHold class (5) driver’s licenseStrong sense of ethical and personal ownership of workProficient with Microsoft Office suite, AUTOCAD and InventorSelf-motivated and the ability to work independentlyExcellent verbal and written communicationRegistered or qualified to be registered as Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer under EGBC is a mustCandidate with more experience will be considered Project Engineer.FPS Food Process Solutions Corporation is an equal opportunity employer, and we thank you for your interest in the position.
