Who you are: - You encompass Oak Valley Health’s core values and live the words of respect, trust, commitment, compassion and courage - You are a patient and/or client centered individual who performs at an exemplary standard - You are a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking and prioritization skills What we are looking for: What you bring to the role: - Bachelor’s degree in a health discipline - Clinical experience and/or a Master’s degree in a related health care field (i.e. Health Informatics, Nursing, Health Administration) an asset. - Minimum of 5 years hospital-based clinical experience - Recent clinical informatics knowledge and experience, ideally MEDITECH Expanse clinical software - Excellent understanding of technical, integration and clinical business requirements of delivering health information solutions - Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, practice standards, and best practice guidelines - Ability to combine clinical experience, best practice and software knowledge to provide effective education, support and input on organizational initiatives - Uses effective leadership, facilitation, persuasion and negotiation abilities to achieve consensus, resolve conflict and achieve desired outcomes. - Demonstrated effective organizational, research, data analysis skills, time management and priority setting skills in accomplishing assigned work deliverables in a dynamic climate of competing demands - Demonstrated ability to function both autonomously and collaboratively within a team. - Basic understanding of data, clinical information and how these are operationalized within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to create knowledge. - Experience in providing guidance and support to clinical users of electronic systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the systems within patient care - Demonstrated ability to create and execute plans and ensure timelines are met while working with a variety of stakeholders. - Exercises initiative, self-direction and critical thinking abilities to identity gaps and opportunities for improvement. - Maintains a results-oriented attitude to continually improve processes, enhance efficiency and contribute to overall clinical and organizational success. - Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards - Demonstrated a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7.5 hr days.
