As a Design & Project Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the construction and project requirements needed for various renovations and new locations. You will work with stakeholders to gather requirements to then create design drawings, a scope of work and schedule, tendering to trades and suppliers before providing a budget for management approval. You will then finalize agreements and manage the projects through to completion with leadership support as we continue to grow the Westland branch network from coast to coast. This position is fully remote and is open to applicants residing anywhere in Canada. Coordinate and review construction drawings (architectural, furniture, mechanical and electrical), signage drawings and millwork shop drawings. Develop detailed scope of work and budget for approval.Obtain or coordinate required landlord and municipal approvals. Tender & award to General Contractor or subtrades.Ensure execution of construction schedule and liaise with our staff and contractors as needed.Coordinate the project through to completion.Electronically catalogue all related construction documents and specifications.
