This role will be responsible for the safe construction of foundations and other concrete structures on a remote site.Reporting to: Foreman or SuperintendentDuties and Responsibilities:Erect/install and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites.Builds footings, walls, column forms, slab forms, and stair forms and parapets.Read and interpret drawings and/or receive instructions from a supervisor.Carry out a variety of carpentry services (including backing, blocking, framing, installation and other general carpentry.Installs precast units, framing systems sheathing, exterior trims, interior/exterior doors and hardware, windows, flooring, wall coverings, washroom accessories and architectural materialsExecute work with minimal supervision while working alongside a team and other sub-trades to complete projects.Perform other construction related duties as assigned.Maintaining a clean construction site.Maintain a daily log of tasks and hazard assessment cards.Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner.Adhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures.Skills and Knowledge:The physical ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs., as well as performing repetitive motions, bending, crouching and/or kneeling for long periods throughout the day.The capability to work outside in extreme weather conditions depending on the season.The ability to work long hours while completing repetitive tasks.1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year Apprenticeship training or Journeyperson certificate.Must have concrete form work experience.Qualifications:Experience working in commercial/industrial construction is considered an asset.Valid first aid certificate an asset.Valid ESC Fall Protection, CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 is an asset.What's in it for you?
