We are a small business that is expanding and would like to fill a new job opening with someone who will fit well into our service-oriented team. We are looking for a humble, personable team member who is eager to learn in an atmosphere of ever-changing day-to-day tasks of a growing business. We need someone who communicates well with customers and our current team. This position requires work that will revolve around pre-fabricating accessory structures with many different, unique materials and leading an installation crew with the rewarding assembly at the customer sites across Ontario. Carpentry and/or construction experience is essential. Duties and Responsibilities Works with construction dimensional lumber, insulation, roofing materials, and other construction materialsHandles safely and efficiently tools and woodworking machineryUnderstands and can apply construction drawings and imperial measurementsResponsible for leading work crews on an installation siteA valid G driver’s license is necessary to drive to customer sites.Skills and Competencies Hard-working and self-motivatedAttention to detailPunctual and a good sense of time managementMaintain and improve quality standards, looking for constant improvementAbility to solve problems and look for creative solutionsStrong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsConfident driving trucks with trailersExperience Carpentry and/or wood-working (3-year, required)Benefits: - Flexible Work Schedule- Free Parking- Work Vehicle provided- Small Team- Personal Days- Overtime Pay Job Type: Full-time, seasonal Start date: Immediate Hourly payment starting at $20-22 (capability and initiative will be rewarded) Please call me to arrange a meeting if you’re interested.
