ChampionX has an immediate need for an Account Manager located in Drayton Valley, AB. As an Account Manager, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining and supporting established production chemical programs for local oil and gas producers as well as for growing the current business. You will be a self starter that has excellent time management skills and a desire to grow your accounts. In addition, you will be responsible for building long-term relationships throughout your customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies. What You Will Do: - Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new oil and gas producing customers.- Collaborate with sales and technical team to provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges.- Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer issues, escalating as required.- Engage in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations perform optimally.- Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology to promote long-term business relationships with ChampionX.- Some travel is required to support business requirements and receive training.
