What you will do:We are currently seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our IT department as a Senior JDE Developer to work on JD Edwards development related development tools, software development, technical documentation, and system integration. The ideal candidate would also collaborate with other technical leads and SMEs.The ideal candidate will describe themselves as someone who is organized, logical, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities: Customize / develop JDE modules to meet business requirements.Document/Map Process, testing scenarios.Understanding of Technical structure of JDE E1 business applications, Database structure, integrations, and data recovery methods.Demonstrate at least Basic project management skills to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to organizational goals and objectives. Participate as a project team member in strategic projects.Collaborate with company heads, stakeholders, customers, and process owners to determine financial, business, and operational requirements and goals.Verify the efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and develop strategies for system improvements.Define the scope and parameters of system modifications, setting up criteria for results.Collaborate with other IT specialists to plan, develop, design, and implement new applications and enhance existing applications.Assess software products to ensure they meet business demands.Understand business requirements for modified and new business applications in collaboration with business analysts, create technical design documents, and document fit/ gap analysis.Conduct technical training sessions and provide guidelines to junior analysts.Design methods and techniques for preparing and presenting program tests and quality assurance.Respond to assigned Helpdesk support tickets on time. Provide knowledge transfer to colleagues to help answer support tickets and meet SLA conditions.Ability to continuously learn and improve knowledge in relevant systems, modules, and technology. Utilize available learning methods including self-learning and self-improvement to achieve knowledge required for successful system support and projects.Ability to work in teams and to collaborate with others to achieve goals.Efficient communications with vendors and third-party stakeholders to address system issues and to help close open tasks.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.Sound work ethic and commitment to the company. What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required.Minimum of five years of experience in JDE E1 (version or higher) related development is necessary.Experience in developing and customizing JDE E1 Distribution (Inventory, Sales, Procurement) or Financial Modules (GL, AR, AP). Experience in BIP, Orchestrator, EDI, E1 Business Services (BSSV), Security setup and RolesExperience in designing and implementing APIsExperience in JDE Orchestration programing / scripting languages (Apache Groovy, JRuby, Jython, etc.).Experience in EnterpriseOne package builds and deploymentKnowledge of JDE Orchestrator and JDE development tools is required.Proficient in technical solution documentation.Ability to understand and work toward organizational goals and objectives, collaborating with various stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a creative approach.Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication and interpersonal skills.Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to set priorities and implement tasks in any environment.Customer service-oriented mindset.Experience in preparing and conducting technical training sessions.
