Primary Responsibilities: Promote and maintain strict adherence to all Health, Safety, Environmental and Community Relations standards.Coordinate scheduling of operators and equipment to achieve production goals for tonnes, grade, stripping and equipment utilization in a safe, environmentally sound and efficient manner.Review and monitor key operating targets including safety, attendance, productivity, quality control, and environmental compliance.Assign, prioritize and supervise all mine operations tasks and activities with an emphasis on safety.Collaborate with the training team to ensure access and participation for current and upcoming initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement.Lead and mentor the operations team to ensure professional development and career growth opportunities.Ensure accurate and timely documentation including reports and KPIs.Participate in the detailed planning and setup for cross shifts.Work under the direction of the Mine Operations Superintendent to maintain the pit dewatering system and other duties as assigned.
