JOB DESCRIPTION :

KASI Aviation is a North American leader in airborne Lidar, photo and Bathymetric survey operations. We are a flight service provider operating mainly throughout the Americas and the Caribbean Islands. Our current fleet of aircraft is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a dynamic, solution-oriented Aircraft Parts Controller to join our team in Montreal, Quebec.

Someone who is enthusiastic, prioritizes without instructions, multitasks and is self-motivated. The Aircraft Parts Coordinator is required to maintain an organized department with parts stored in their proper location for easy access and ensure parts and items ordered are consistent with the requirements of the department. The coordinator is also responsible for keeping accurate inventory records, shipping, and receiving part orders and procurement instructions for the Director of Maintenance and Field Mechanics.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with an electronic inventory system and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Assisting maintenance in investigating failed parts from catalogs and organizing their procurement,
  • Assisting in equipment and sensor transportation to different warehouses and hangars,
  • Process purchase orders, repair orders, work orders and organize core returns.
  • Receive parts and verify incoming parts per the purchase order.
  • Validate all certifications and documentation match the received parts.
  • Assist in the Update & Upkeep of aircraft technical records.
  • Uphold Quality Control regarding the entire supply chain of the operation.

  • SKILLS:
  • 2 years minimum experience in related activities.
  • Strong MS Office Skills, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Quick and accurate data entry skills
  • Must hold valid class 5 driver’s license.
