Technical Support Agent - Night Shift

At eStruxture, we are building a Canada-wide data center platform. The goal of the company is to build and acquire data centers and managed hosting capability across the country. To date, the company has completed four acquisitions in Canada, and we now run five facilities in two provinces - and we are constantly looking to expand and acquire in other markets nationally.

We’re looking for a Technical Support Agent to support our international clients and be a key member of our support team.

Who You Are :

  • You are extremely passionate about working in a high paced, cutting edge heavily based Linux hosting environment.
  • You are customer oriented and enjoy working in a team and with various clients/industries.
  • You have experience or a degree in computer/technical support.
  • You have good verbal and written communication skills, both in English & French.
  • You are a night owl and have a preference for working the night shift.

What we’re ideally looking for :

  • Working knowledge of web control panels (cpanel, directadmin, plesk).
  • Prior work experience in System Administration (Linux, Windows Server).
  • Familiar with support ticketing systems.
  • Experience working in Cloud/Virtualization environments.
  • Working knowledge of DNS/rDNS theory and configuration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic networking skills (CIDR, subnetting, routing).

Some of the things you’ll be working on :

  • High degree of customer focus and dedication.
  • Familiar with support ticketing systems.
  • Acting as the go-to expert for customers who have questions and require support via tickets and phone calls, responding to their requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Investigating and responding to outage notifications.
  • Installing, configuring and troubleshooting supported software in a Windows or Linux environment (OS, Mail, DNS, FTP, LAMP, modules).

Nous recherchons un Agent de support technique pour soutenir nos clients internationaux et être un membre clé de notre équipe de support.

Qui vous êtes :

  • Vous êtes extrêmement passionné par le travail dans un environnement rapide, à la pointe de la technologie et dans un environnement d'hébergement Linux.
  • Vous êtes orienté client et aimez travailler en équipe et avec divers clients/industries.
  • Vous avez une expérience ou un diplôme en support informatique/technique.
  • Vous avez de bonnes compétences en communication verbale et écrite, en anglais et en français.
  • Vous êtes un oiseau de nuit et avez une préférence pour le travail de nuit.

Ce que nous recherchons idéalement :
