New Professional Support may receive up to a maximum of seven steps for relevant occupational experience which is $78,680.87 annually.This position may be eligible for hybrid or remote work after demonstrating successful progression in proficiency in the position. You can review our FlexWork Policy on nscc.ca https://www.nscc.ca/about_nscc/publications/policies_procedures/policies/flexwork-policy.asp Responsibilities What you will be doing…Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Student Recruitment, you will contribute to NSCC's province-wide recruitment agenda through the development of a diverse pool of prospective students.Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, working collaboratively with NSCC stakeholders, and building recruitment capacity College wide.The Student Recruitment Coordinator role actively develops and delivers presentations and represents NSCC through recruitment, community, and industry events.The successful candidate will contribute to social media outreach, development and execution of the annual recruitment plan, and tracking and analysis of recruitment initiatives and data that informs decisions in Student Recruitment.This position requires extensive travel and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Qualifications Qualifications and Occupational Experience:The minimum educational qualification for this position is an undergraduate degree or a college advanced diploma with specific training in communications and strategic planning.You have a minimum of three years (full time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in student services, recruitment, marketing or a related field.You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, social media platforms and CRM platforms and have demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies as needed.You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology to create an exceptional student experience.Relevant Skills and KnowledgeYou demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility and anti-racismYou are a strong communicator and are comfortable speaking in a group setting such as providing presentations to youthYou possess excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to interact with a diversity of people and support resolution of issuesYou are known for your ability to create a relationship of trust beyond the ability to foster a feeling of safety and belongingYour superb teamwork skills enable you to contribute positively to a team environmentYou possess excellent coordination skills specifically related to logistics, planning and executing special events and activities.A valid driver's license is required for this position.
