QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceA level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a master's degree in communications, journalism or health related field with seven (7) to ten (10) years' of progressively senior experience that includes working at a leadership level. Previous experience working in public sector administration would be an asset.Skills And AbilitiesDemonstrated leadership in areas of leading self, engaging others, achieving results, developing coalitions, and system transformation are required.Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills and holder of effective relationships.Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of strategic communications and ability to respond to the needs of interest holders in sensitive situations supported by acute awareness of the impact of actions.Senior manager capabilities in the areas of leading self, engaging others, and achieving results, developing coalitions, and system transformation are required.Provides leadership, educational and communications support to facilitate the successful design, planning, implementation, integration, and evaluation of initiatives relating to renewal, redesign, restructuring, and reconfiguration of provincial healthcare support services.The proven ability to create and execute communication strategies.Demonstrated ability to lead ad support team members with respect, compassion, and humility.Proven ability to create and execute communication strategies.Proven ability to provide consultation, leadership, and supervision.Demonstrated ability to problem-solve with a overall perspective in order to incorporate the organization's systems and strategies when developing viable solutions to problems.
