Position: PSW (Personal Support Worker)/HSW (Home Support Worker)-Sign on bonus of $500 offered to qualified PSWs!

Hours: Part Time/Full Time/Casual

Do you have a PSW (Personal Support Worker), HSW (Home Support Worker) certificate, Developmental Service Worker Diploma, Paramedic Diploma, 1st year of Nursing completed or are an internationally trained Nurse or Doctor? If so, we want to hear from you! These credentials can get you working in community health care as a support worker today!

ParaMed PSWs provide individualized care that is sensitive to clients’ unique needs, providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and Independent Activities of Daily Living (IADL’s) through a client specific assignment working under the direction of and in collaboration with a regulated health care professional. PSW care takes place within the community and requires travel to client residences.

Requirements :

  • Diploma or Certificate from a PSW course recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development or equivalent education or Current Nursing Students or Foreign Trained Nurse or Doctor

  • HSW-NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED WE WILL TRAIN! :

  • NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to demonstrate compassion, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with clients and their families
