Part-time Meat Wrapper - Grande Cache

New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Meat Wrapper at our Food Store in Grande Cache, Alberta.

Who we are : What you’ll do :

• Wrap or rewrap, clean, label and package prepared meats for showcase using hand wrapper and scales
• Ensure all meat products are accurately priced and a proper rotation is maintained in the coolers and retail area
• Build and maintain merchandise display in the meat department
• Respond to all customer inquiries regarding different cuts, serving sizes and other product related questions in a courteous and well-informed manner
• Maintain the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness while ensuring all Food Safety guidelines, procedures and requirements are always adhered to
• Perform additional duties as required

Who you are :

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Enthusiastic approach to work with strong leadership skills
• Availability to work on a very flexible schedule
• Practical working knowledge of daily retail operations
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Can handle cool temperatures, and heavy lifting may be required (up to 50lbs)
• Previous meat cutting or wrapping experience is an asset
