Veterinary Reception, Client CareLocation: Strathmore, ABAnimal Care Centre of Strathmore is welcoming a friendly, organized, and experienced Client Care Representative to join our team. As a CCR, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy hospital and providing excellent service to our clients and their furry, hooved, and wagging companions.The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic setting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping animals. Our hospital serves both small and large animals, so experience with both is preferred but not required.Responsibilities:Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional mannerAnswer phone calls and respond to emails, providing excellent customer serviceSchedule appointments and procedures, ensuring efficient use of hospital resourcesMaintain patient records and ensure accurate data entryAssist with general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and inventory managementWillingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatmentsAssist with patient care and treatment when necessaryGeneral housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas and common areasA love for all animals!!Qualifications:Prior experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic settingExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficient in computer and data entry skillsAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamPassion for helping animals and their ownersFlexibility to work weekends and some holidays as neededWhat VCA Canada OffersJoin our team and you will make a huge difference in the lives of pets and their families!
