FLINT is seeking energetic and self-driven Pipefitters to join our team for the upcoming Turnaround until October 7th, 2024 .
Based in Carseland, this role is perfect for local candidates from Calgary, Strathmore, High River, or Okotoks.
As a Pipefitter, you'll be immersed in various tasks, from studying blueprints and layouts to assembling and installing pipes, valves, and fittings. If you hold a Journeyperson Pipefitter ticket/certification, possess the necessary safety certifications, and have operating plant experience, we encourage you to apply.

- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
- Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
- Maintain and repair piping systems.
- Journeyperson Pipefitter ticket/certification.
- Valid and up-to-date Fall Protection, CSTS 2020 and Confined Space Entry.
- Experience working in an operating plant, an asset.
- Enjoy a varied workload.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
