Job Description : What we offer :

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

• Assist operator on site
• Use of hand signals to communicate with operator in varying tasks
• Load & unload trucks & trailers while ensuring load securement
• Rigging in and out of picker at site for loading and unloading safely
• Demonstrate understanding of rigging and tagline use
• Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications :

• 1-3 years of experience swamping on a 45 ton picker is an asset
• Valid class 5 licence (non GDL) with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is an asset
• Prior experience working at heights with the use of special fall restraint equipment is an asset
• Safety certificates required: H2S Alive, CSO and Fall Protection
• Reliable transportation is required
• Must be flexible to work the shift and hours required
• Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Skills :

• You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
• Perform physically demanding work including climbing and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
• Ability to work well in both independent and team environments and manage multiple tasks while working under mínimal supervision
