Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards and Payroll, the Total Rewards Manager will be leading a team of 10 Compensation & Benefits team members. The successful Total Rewards Manager will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing benefits, wellness, and compensation programs, policies, and procedures for a complex multi-unionized environment. Responsibilities: In consultation with the Director, Total Rewards, assists in designing and implementing strategies which support the organization’s overall corporate culture through initiatives that provide competitive compensation, benefits and other rewards Performs regular evaluation of existing total rewards policies and programs and recommends changes to ensure programs are market competitive, internally equitable, and aligned with company's strategic goals. Oversees the review of annual performance appraisals, coaching and advising all levels of management on performance ratings, and managing the exempt enterprise-wide performance management process. Collaborates with other stakeholders within human resources to integrate all aspects of the performance management process. Provides leadership and oversight to job evaluation panel discussions for exempt and bargaining unit jobs across the enterprise and addresses related issues including review of appeals/grievances, providing input to arbitration cases to ensure successful resolution. Acts as key contact for union on evaluation of bargaining unit jobs and oversees administration of collective agreements as they pertain to compensation programs, providing input and supportive information to the collective bargaining process.
