Job Description   The Account Manager is responsible for managing house accounts and for assisting Traders as they manage day-to-day interactions with key accounts. The Account Manager will be called upon to work in close collaboration with all the departments involved in the processing and transportation of non-ferrous metals as well as all the departments involved in the commercial aspect of the transaction. In this role, you will be responsible for:  Develop and maintain good business relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle, including after-sales support;  Manage customer concerns in a timely and effective manner, working with internal partners to resolve any issues; Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products to effectively address customer inquiries and provide accurate information and recommendations;  Communicate effectively with customers to ensure clarity and understanding while maintaining a positive and professional demeanour at all times;  Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements or service modifications based on customer feedback and experience;  Prepare purchase orders and their content including price, description, delivery date and applicable conditions;  Prepare contracts and ensure legal terms are covered;  Perform market analyzes to establish prices based on supply and demand, to identify trends, insights and opportunities for improvement;  Work in collaboration with other Account Managers and Traders to develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals;  Evaluate alternative suppliers, new customers and new products, analyze offers and make supplier recommendations. Qualifications Results-driven mindset, with a tenacity for speed and action; Entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication skills, organized, collaborative and detail oriented;  University Degree is preferred (Sales, Marketing and/or Operations focus is an asset);  1+ years in a Customer Success, Relationship Management, Account Management, or similar role is preferred; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to empathize with customers;  Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment;  Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards addressing customer issues;  Ability to perform mental math calculations;  Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel;  Bilingualism preferred (English and French);  Valid passport and driver’s license (some travel required).
