Job Description Under the supervision of the site manager, the position holder will be responsible for sorting different types of metals using manual processes. Sort the different metals according to their characteristics; Prepare the material to meet the quality criteria ;(e.g. cutting aluminum) Working with different types of machinery; (forklift) Ensure that the premises remain clean at all times; Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles; Assign the correct type of metal to the metals provided by the customer. Participate in shipping tasks; Assist with torch cutting as needed; Provide excellent customer service; Perform other related duties; Qualifications ON-SITE TRAINING! Minimum experience of 12 months as a day laborer; Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment; Knowledge of metals (an asset); Be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, caps, helmets, gloves, etc.). Skills sought: Health and Safety Awareness; Must be in good physical condition; Resourcefulness; Be meticulous and like repetitive work; Punctuality and attendance; Ability to work in a team.
