Quality Assurance Engineer (Junior)– Bilingual (EN / FR)

Location: Montreal (Saint Laurent), QC

Overview:

MT Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a global manufacturer bringing innovative engineering solutions to diverse market segments. As they continue to experience success across all markets, they are looking to add a Quality Assurance Engineer to their Quebec operations. This is a full time, permanent position with a Monday to Friday daytime schedule.

The Quality Assurance employee will support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality program. They will be involved with processing customer and vendor returns, promoting a total quality environment that ensures the continuous improvement products and materials.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • process and review customer and vendor returns, ensuring appropriate documentation, reporting and findings
  • the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • and calibration of Measuring and Test Equipment
  • in, and supports, quality system reviews, internal audits, customer led audits/visit.
  • root cause analysis and makes recommendations for corrective and preventative actions
  • audits are completed and scoring is posted in a timely manner
  • all visual boards, pictures and internal audit communications

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

  • education in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or other related area of study.
  • least 1 year of post-secondary employment experience in a Quality Assurance role. Experience in the materials, heavy industrial, and/or mechanical manufacturing space is preferred.
  • certification is an asset.
  • with full reading, writing, and speaking proficiency in both Frech and English is mandatory.
  • computer skills including MS Office. SAP is an asset.
  • with quality systems, lean manufacturing, ISO13485 is preferred.
  • using relevant measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, protractors, tape measurer.
  • detail oriented, accurate, and organized.
  • with a drive to excellence.
  • interpersonal abilities with a team-oriented attitude.
  • solution-focused, and analytical with a proven ability to meet defined deadlines.
