Responsibilities • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive enterprise architecture strategies to align with business objectives and drive organizational growth. • Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards. • Define and maintain architectural principles, standards, and guidelines to govern the design and evolution of IT systems and solutions. • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current-state architectures, identify gaps, and define target-state architectures to support future business needs. • Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending adoption strategies to enhance organizational capabilities. • Oversee the design and integration of complex IT systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across all architectural layers. • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, presenting architectural recommendations and facilitating decision-making processes to achieve strategic objectives. Qualifications • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on the healthcare sector in British Columbia. • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions that meet the unique challenges and regulatory requirements of the BC healthcare industry. • Possession of industry-recognized certifications such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and/or Zachman Framework for Enterprise Architecture. • Proven track record of leading successful enterprise architecture initiatives from conception to implementation, with a strong emphasis on delivering tangible business value. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior leadership, technical teams, and external partners within a complex organizational environment.
