Turn challenges into sustainable solutions We are looking for a Bridge EIT to join our team. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North America's most significant projects. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like the Golden Ears, Alex Fraser, and the Lions’ Gate Bridges. Together with customers, partners, and colleagues, we shape a future where people and societies grow and flourish. We do that by co-creating sustainable and beautiful solutions that improve the quality of life for people today and many generations ahead. Your key responsibilities will be to: Assist in preparing design calculations, drawings, and cost estimates. Apply design code clauses to engineering tasks assigned under supervision. Communicate effectively and professionally with team members. Attend project meetings and provide an update on assigned tasks and assist in preparing engineering reports and other technical documents along with being able to perform other responsibilities as required. Perform inspections of bridges and other structures. Your skills. Our team. On top of that, you will: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred). Be registered as an Engineer-in-Training in the home province or can obtain before employment. Be conversant in the use of engineering software such as Excel to efficiently produce engineering calculations. Possess a Class 5 driver's licence. Have the ability and willingness to go on inspection trips that may have a duration of one week or more. Preferably have the following skills: a familiarity with structural design codes like the CHBDC, proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu, and competence in utilizing structural analysis software programs like SoFistik and CSiBridge.
