Your team’s dynamic : Genetec is currently seeking a motivated, dedicated, and passionate individual to fill a position as a cook. Under the supervision of the executive chef, you will be required to provide support to the food service, following Genetec's philosophy and policies. What your day will look like :

  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday from 5:30 am to 1:30 pm
  • Participate in preparation and setup
  • Clean kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Collaborate in serving meals to employees
  • Clean the preparation area at the end of the day
  • Follow work methods and use designated products and equipment in accordance with safety, quality, hygiene, and sanitation rules and standards
  • Perform any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor

More about you :

  • Accumulate 1 to 3 years of experience in food service
  • Be familiar with food hygiene and sanitation techniques
  • Have a customer service-oriented approach; attention to detail, good communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Possess a strong sense of responsibility
  • Demonstrate autonomy, punctuality, dynamism, and good judgment
  • Have stress resistance and good physical condition

Great if you have :

  • Hold a certificate or diploma in the field of culinary arts (secondary or college level)
  • Hold the MAPAQ food handler certificate

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
