Job Summary Tobermory Chamber of Commerce is hiring a year-round Coordinator, position begins immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee & manage the staff of the tourism offices in both Tobermory (plus kiosk downtown) & Ferndale during summer months;
  • Act under the direction of the Board of Directors, providing administrative support including meeting scheduling, minutes, report writing, and coordinating;
  • Maintain a comprehensive filing system;
  • Develop marketing materials and campaigns to deliver business, tourism and sustainable tourism promotions and information;
  • Produce July 1st celebrations;
  • Work towards fulfilment of a Strategic Tourism Plan for Northern Bruce Peninsula.

Qualifications

  • Administrative work: 1 year (preferred)
  • Secondary School Education
  • Must have accommodation on the Bruce Peninsula or be able to commute to Tobermory

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
