Project Manager - Customer Care and Communications Systems Transition

Location: North York, ON

Type: On-site Hybrid (Mon, Tue, Thu in Office)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the transition of Customer Care and Communications systems for three recently acquired US Utilities from Dominion Energy. This is a program/implement/migrate level role crucial for integrating three businesses into one, serving more than 500,000 customers across various workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and monitor activities for reporting to USUI TIS PMO, including project plan updates, and management of RAID items and interdependencies.
  • Manage the tracking of 6+ projects within the Customer Care & Communications (CIS) workstream.
  • Support the development and implementation of the application support team's resourcing model.
  • Ensure proper work activity reporting by monitoring project managers.
  • Support major work tracks as needed, including RFP and contracting efforts (e.g., CIS re-platforming).
  • Provide project oversight, ensuring all deliverables meet business requirements, are delivered on time, and meet quality standards.

Additional Project Details:

  • The project entails app migration, CIS application migrations and replacements, website redesign, technology solution rebranding, and Customer Portal & Mobile App re-platforming/replacement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in overseeing multiple large-scale projects (minimum of $25M+ projects).
  • Experience with cross-project coordination and interface, preferably in ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite tools (Project, PowerPoint), with excellent communication skills and a solid technology base.
  • Familiarity with a mix of methodologies (hybrid, agile, waterfall) and the ability to structure a team of 100 or more staff.
  • PMP, PgMP, or PMI certification highly regarded.
  • Experience in finance and customer care is important, with a preference for candidates familiar with similar enterprise systems.

Additional Notes:

  • This role requires some overtime and occasional travel to the US (less than monthly).
  • A PMO background is an asset, as is customer care applications experience.
  • This position has a very good possibility of extension.
  • Interviews will be conducted via video, with a potential second in-person interview based on availability and proximity.
