About The OpportunityWorking as an integral part of the Ts’ixwts’ixwnítway Member Services Department, reporting to the Manager, Member Support Services, This officer position is responsible for working one-on-one with clients, via telephone, email or face-to-face, to provide emergency/crisis intervention counseling and to determine eligibility for emergency assistance. The position supports the MSS (Member Support Services) team with cases of Emergency Assistance and follows up/authorizes as per the established process. Conducts MSS intakes, file reviews, and research/provides recommendations to Management and implements approved decisions, including advising members when requests are denied. Performs administration/support duties and also assists with special assignments.
