About : As part of the Risk Management team, the position of Credit Analyst is a perfect position to continue your career in risk analysis. He or she will report to Manager, Flow Credit under which he/she will be able to put his/her analytical skills into practice, put his/her knowledge of credit to good use and use his/her good judgment when analyzing files.

Responsabilities :

  • Analyze the financial situation of applicants, their references, their degree of solvency and their ability to repay;
  • Collaborate with colleagues for files exceeding their credit limit;
  • Negotiate with the sales team;
  • Conduct research to find out the value of guarantees;
  • Conduct research about the clients to get to know them well;
  • Communicate the decisions to the applicants (explain the reasons and submit alternatives as far as possible);
  • Collaborate with different departments
  • Participate in various projects;
  • Any other related tasks that may fall under this position.

The profile we are looking for :

  • You have a bachelor’s in business administration - finance or accounting OR any other related diploma;

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in similar functions such as:

  • consulting services including financial statement analysis

  • credit analysis

  • You master the analysis of financial statements and credit reports;

  • You are bilingual (English and French); both orally and in writing, to be able to adequately serve our teams located across Canada (an asset)

  • You demonstrate leadership;

  • You enjoy working in a team and you demonstrate excellent skills related to interpersonal communications;

  • You thrive in a dynamic environment;

  • You have a good knowledge of the Office Suite (particularly Excel);

  • You demonstrate good analytical, judgment, synthesis, and organizational skills.
