Description :Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Project Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to support our Langley office with various tasks related to environmental work, primarily in Western Canada. What You'll Be Doing:Coordination of various site monitoring, investigation, and remediation projects principally at active and vacant petroleum and chemical handling and storage properties.Planning projects, developing accurate scopes of work, cost estimates, project plans, schedules and deliverables.Work with project teams including field personnel, project managers, draftspersons and administrative staff using interpersonal and organizational skills to ensure project tasks are completed on time and budget.Prepare do-lists, health and safety plans, technical reports, memoranda and other project documentation.Preparation of site monitoring, preliminary site investigation (Stage 1 and 2 PSI), detailed site investigation (DSI) and completion of remediation (COR) reports.Management of internal and external communications.Preparation and issuance of contract documents.Assisting with management and processing of invoices.Processing and maintaining control and accountability for contract modifications (i.e., change orders, de-scoped items, etc.).Participation in meetings related to safety, project work, budgets, schedules, and reporting.Integration of contract administration with other project functions (i.e. Environment, health and safety, operations, asset management, cost control, and document control, etc.).Managing and coordinating the appropriate closure of contracts, including management of performance metric reporting, acquisition of deliverables.Maintaining and updating tracking tools with current values for contracts and amendments (projected and actual), and developing data summaries.Compliance monitoring of contract deliverables.What Required Skills You'll Bring:4-year (Bachelor's) or higher degree in earth sciences, geo-sciences, engineering, and related disciplines.Prior experience (3+ years) in conducting site assessment, remediation and preparing reports.Ability to work independently and as a team player in fast paced dynamic environments.Strong analytical skills for problem solving.Experience working in a team environment.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
