Who We Are : Nestled in the southwestern corner of Alberta, in the rugged and legendary Canadian Rockies, Castle is as authentic as it gets. Hard-working, hospitable, and here for the powder is what we’re all about. With less than 200 employees we’re a small, passionate team of winter enthusiasts. Our resort is not owned or operated by a large ski conglomerate; rather by a bunch of local skiers and riders who are passionate about steep terrain and great snow. Operational decisions are made here (head office = the basement of the day lodge) and our long-term direction is plotted by a group of passionate, volunteer directors who represent more than 200, predominately local shareholders.

About The Position : Use your culinary skills to prep, cook, and serve meals in our day lodge cafeteria, all while enjoying the lifestyle and access to skiing and riding at Castle Mountain Resort. A pivotal piece to the guest experience, we are looking for cooks who are as passionate about serving great food as they are powder days!

What We Offer :

• $16/hr starting wage, plus tips

What You Will Be Doing :

• Responsible for all the daily preparation of food items for various stations and all areas of the kitchen in the day lodge.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Preparation of all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner working at an efficient and consistent pace.
• Clean food preparation, service and storage areas.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas of the kitchen.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers or griddles.

Where we are : Castle Mountain Resort is located at the end of Highway 774, near Pincher Creek, AB. This is a remote work location with no mobile coverage or public transit.
