Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver of propane tanks and welding gas cylinders, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers. This is a physically demanding role that requres heavy lifting and excellent customer skills. Dangerous goods training can be provided. This is local work and you will be home every night.

Duties :

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, such as a van or truck, to transport goods to customer locations
• Load and unload merchandise from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer instructions
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicationg effectively and professionally with customers
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues that may arise
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulation while operating the delivery vehicle
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns promptly
• Assist with warehouse duties, such as organizing inventory and preparing orders for delivery
• Operate a forklift to move and stack merchandise as needed

Requirements :

• Valid G drivers license (DZ an asset) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in commercial driving or a similar role - Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
• Capable of heavy lifting
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer interactions
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision - Familiarity with warehouse opeations and inventory management is preferred

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience :

• Commercial driving: 1 year (required)
• Driving: 1 year (preferred)
